Communities join forces to celebrate and reward our inspirational young people and their work

The IARS International Institute in partnership with the 99% Campaign are pleased to announce their 6th Annual Research and Youth Leadership Awards that took place on 28th May 2019, 6pm at the Canada Water Theatre21 Surrey Quays Road, London, SE16 7AR.  6th IARS  Annual Research and Youth Leadership Awards Ceremony 2019 Dr. Theo Gavrielides, IARS Founder and Director, said: “We have seen in the last recent year a concerning increase of discrimination, racism and hate crimes on a local, national and international level. As we head into the uncertainties of Brexit, the message of uniting and importance of addressing social inclusion is what we at IARS see as an opportunity for action. Led by the youth and for the youth, our 6th awards ceremony sends out a reassuring global message to young people who are often ignored by political fiascos”. For the 6th consecutive year, this unique youth-led event brought together local communities to celebrate and reward aspiring young leaders and their projects who strengthen and unite their communities. The event placed emphasis on promoting equal opportunities to young people from under-representative backgrounds for social action and participation and recognizing their talents and commitment.
